Behind the Build: ADS Huntsville

When the Huntsville branch of environmental services company ADS decided to make the move to Bridge Street Town Centre, Appleseed was thrilled to create a new open concept floor plan that better reflected the company personality.

What was once an old bowling alley now serves as a unique office space with architectural details unlike any other.

Upon entering the ADS office, a reception desk made of carved wall panels imitates the textured ceiling overhead and sets the tone for the rest of the space.

Appleseed used ¼” coroplast, a material most commonly used by the signage industry, to create a wave ceiling with no two panels alike. When fully assembled, the sculpture emulates the impression of a pebble falling into a body of water. These curves ripple outward throughout the space with the most dramatic curvatures appearing above the reception desk and the more subtle curves trickling into the outermost corners of the space.

Pops of green can be found throughout the office, like on the phone booth room’s accent walls, and offer an energetic vibe to work areas. In the conference room, Appleseed custom designed a window bench to offer functional seating for maximized usage of the space and an extra splash of green to round out the aesthetic.

Appleseed is proud to design office spaces unlike any other and ADS is certainly no exception.
